Gitty up!!

It's time to ride! Of course we don't exactly get to that point at such ease. First our chores to prepare the horses to ride are quite arduous. We brush all five horses thoroughly. Then we feed them a nutricious mixture. The most difficult of the tasks is when we have to decide which two horses we will take out for the day...three are destined to be left behind. :( After the horses are well groomed and fed, we then place their bits firmly in their mouths and ever so gently place their saddles on their backs. We have a grand time out on the farm! The horses love to run and
play. To the left are some pictures of Morgsie and I saddling up for a ride. At the top is me, Lilly, riding one of the bounciest runners, Shorty. The bottom picture is of Morgsie riding the calmest horse on the farm, Joe. What a fun time we have!!

Drivin' the tractor!

Here we are on the tractor. In these particular pictures we make the job look easier, and more layed back than it really is. Driving the tractor every morning at the crack of dawn can be a diffucult and tedious job. Especially in this cold weather, sometimes we're out working in negative degree temperatures. But we're troopers, and we will never give up on our duties. We do try our best to make it eventful, and since we're such supurb cowgirls, we do have a little fun.
